Talk about desperate to win something, United more or less fielded their flippin first team bench !
I think we did pretty well considering we had the majority of the youth team playing.
Did any wookies go to watch it ?

Is there anyone on here outpriced from going to watch some of our prem league fixtures ?
Im guessing that the price of a season ticket means that if your able to go to over half a dozen matches it actually represents really good value ?
Personally i cant afford to attend many prem league fixtures anymore on a game by game basis and havent had a season ticket in years because i cant make it to many of the matches, not just because of the match costs but the costs in getting there and taking time off work etc... etc..

Having been a resident of Stoke for 8 years as a child, and everyone at school being intolerable Stoke fans, and being told by my dad how he wouldn't go and watch City away games at the nearby Victoria Ground because their fans were hooligans (this was the mid 80s), I have always had a bit of a soft spot for Vale. Seems there were difficulties last night; in case folks need to travel from Milton Keynes area and do not want the hassle of the usual M6 mess, we drove M1 to Nottingham and got a train from there; if you get out of the ground ok you can still get the 10.28 from Piccadilly back to Nottingham; it is only way back anywhere South train unless you fancy six hours sat in Birmingham.

Thinking of the rags match coming up.

Had an email re new Europa shirts. I think they look better with the small lettering as they have in the Champions League myself and not a lot different from the home kit bar the mauve/purple ok marroon lettering, numbers and Europa badge. Just an oppinion! I had my away Balotelli away kit which is excellent and a shame we are only using it another 3 times but there is also our run to the F.A Cup and Carling Cup Final

Our host got delayed and did not meet us until 7pm – 30 minutes late so we were in the reception for a good while - this did mean that we saw all the players coming in from the team bus lead by Mancini. I tried my best to get some decent pictures but it was pretty hard as they were all walking towards me and I was trying to be inconspicuous. Saw Adebayor trooping in with his massive headphones, Tevez with his fluffy hat on, Boyata, David Silva, Kompany etc all walking in. Shame you cant post pictures on here really as I've gota few.

I went on the website earlier this month to pay the statement balance of my Platinum card. The website told me how much I had to pay, and I paid it. However, it somehow went on to my Football card in error.

Those of you who don't know the scheme, it's interest free on my season card (and my dad's) for the life of the balance - we usually pay off the minimum each month and then pay the remaining balance (about £300) in May before we purchase the new season's cards.
