I was mentioning (though I still can't see it happening) the prospect of Tevez, Eto'o and Robinho being a front three for us next year and how it would be the best front three anywhere in the world (bar Barca assuming Villa signs and Real Madrid - on paper at least)
She looked at me sympathetically and with 110% conviction said I should calm down as City could have the best 11 players in the world and we would still lose to West Brom. I went to argue but I couldn't come up with a convincing argument as deep down I thought she might be right.
Are we always destined to lose to the likes of West Brom or if we sign these players would we be good enough that the curse would be over-ridden?
