Just been having a discussion in my office with my boss, the secretary and another asst. manager (whi is a rag)
Anyway, was talking about the takeover etc. and our secretary asked "so why out of all the football clubs, did this sheik buy yours??
To which my boss responded, quickly as anything......
"Cos his son said he wanted a cowboys outfit!!!"
Well, you have to laugh at yourselves don't you!!!
After that, the (rag) asst. manager piped up with "how comes you're getting linked to reds past and present..... Van Nistlerooy, Ronaldo"
So I just told him to get used to it now that utd are Citys feeder club!!!
He didn't see the funny side of things, but then he is the guy who yesterday was trying to tell me that when Dennis Law backheeled utd down, that Bryan Robson was the captain??!!
I said surely it was Martin Buchan, or someone like that and that Captain Marvel was signed in the early 80's by Ron Atkinson.
