I thanked him for the extra minutes in the Play off; he asked me what I thought of Mark Hughes as a Manager, wished City luck for the coming season, told me he was reffing the AC Milan match, then showed me to my seat and handed me a menu!
Seems a pleasant, personable chap who chuckled at my attempts to explain the phenomena of sawker, City Play-offs and the fairy God-ref to the Americans I was with. He then told me (and them) he's had a soft spot or City since 1999.
